Winooski Partnership for Prevention's afterschool program Above the Influence (ATI) has expanded into the high school, due to the leadership of youth board trustee Stephie Siki and our new Youth Mobilization Coordinator Hannah St. Don.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, participants in our afterschool program, Above the Influence (ATI) visited the CCTV studio to film a short public service announcement (PSA) about the risks of vaping and e-cigarette use.

In order to raise public consciousness and dispel the stigma associated with substance use disorder, we, as concerned and informed partners, can contribute to a compassionate approach to addiction and recovery in very impactful ways by being mindful of the words we choose when speaking of addiction, people with substance use disorder, their treatment and recovery.
